Integrity check
A file changed after the scan is rejected before anonymization.
What gets processed matches what was scanned.
Your files stay yours
Source files are never changed: the anonymized copy is created in a separate folder.

Traceability
Every processing run is timestamped and sealed with a SHA-256 hash in an audit report.
Protected pseudonymization keys
Each project has its own encrypted key.
The same value gets the same pseudonym within the project, and only there.
Controlled scope
Hidden files and system files are never scanned.
Symbolic links are not followed.

Is the NymData interface available in English?
Yes. The application is fully available in English and in French.
Each user picks the interface language in the settings.
Does NymData work without an internet connection?
Yes, after license activation, which requires a connection one time only.
After that, NymData works offline.
Are the AI models hosted in the cloud?
No. The detection models are installed with NymData on your server.
No request is sent to any external AI service.
Who can see the processed documents?
Only authorized users in your organization, based on their role.

Where are the anonymized files stored?
On your servers, in a folder separate from the originals, created automatically next to them.

How can I prove that processing was actually done?
